I had been pretty discouraged the last couple of weeks, as it seemed like my weight loss had come to a screeching halt. I am happy to announce that it seems to have picked up again, as I have officially lost 16 lbs now!
I can definitely tell in my clothes. All of my pre-baby clothes fit really well now, and my tummy is still flabby, but getting smaller. Even the Knight can really tell a difference, which is always nice to hear.
Recently, a friend of mine snapped some pictures of us, and I was happy to see that my face doesn't look quite as full. Here is a picture of me 2.5 months ago, before I started Medifast.
I look fine, but a little too "fluffy" for my taste.
Here is a picture of me taken a few days ago - I can see that I'm not quite so "swole" and my face has definitely gotten thinner! (little cheer)
The numbers on the scale don't matter so much to me as how I feel about myself. Watching the numbers go down is great, but it is really just a means to the end. Even at my goal weight, I will probably weigh more than most women would like to weigh, but I know I will feel good about it.
Hope you all have a great weekend! The weather is supposed to be beautiful, so I'm hoping to get outdoors and do some running!

You look beautiful in both, as always, but I can tell a difference in your face. I'm so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteBless you, darling! Love you!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I don't personally know you, but I found your blog online when I did a Medifast search. I just started Medifast(horrific Day #2), so I was looking for some online reinforcement. I was SO glad to see that there was a) another young person who cares about happy hour and Super Bowl parties and b) someone else who doesn't have 50+ pounds to lose. I'm aiming for about 25 pounds total loss.
ReplyDeleteHm...I guess I didn't really have a point to this post, except to let you know that your blog is not going un-read! Thanks for sharing your experiences. Keep it up!
Yay Claire! Glad you are reading! Good luck on Medifast - I am pleased with the results and the little to no planning that I have to do with this diet. That is probably my favorite part!
